The writing and publishing of the Hole in the Wall history has been a long process. During the review of the minutes of the shareholder meetings from 1956 to 2014 we discovered that there were no fewer than four history committees that were appointed. The first committee was struck in the early 80’s. The technological advances that we have today made this project feasible. The problem that we had was that all of the members and shareholders from the 50’s to the mid 70’s are no longer with us. With their passing so went our resource information. Jim Michaud, in 2006, gathered a group together to collect “memories of the past”. Sam Jantz and
George Cruikshank are gone but we have their memories and reflections in their own words.
We attempted to present to you their dialogue in their actual handwriting but the writing is just too small to read clearly.
The following “memories” are authored by members of the 1970’s to the mid 2000.
The first two are, hopefully, the first of many memories & reflections.

These notes, especially George Cruickshank’s are difficult to read.
We are considering typing this out. Please let us know if you think we should.
